SWMENA.org, the digital complement to the Status of Women in the Middle East and North Africa (SWMENA) program, will go live on 3 November. The interactive website will feature all data collected between 2009 and 2010 on the social, political and economic status of women in Lebanon, Morocco and Yemen in three languages: English, Arabic and French.

This site will allow data-comparison between countries, demographic filters and user-customization of data selections which can then be exported into Excel files for individual use. The website will also feature over 100 infographics, topic briefs and reports, a blog and a spotlight on SWMENA partners from across the region.

This tool will offer women’s advocates, academics and journalists the ability to customize data previously unavailable to the public for their specific needs in a user-friendly and easily accessible format.
