IFES' 2012 wall calendar celebrates 25 years of IFES projects around the world and highlights national holidays and upcoming elections.
IFES is pleased once again to offer its distinctive 13-month wall calendar featuring images of elections and democratic activities from around the world.
Beginning with December 2011 and ending with December 2012, each month focuses on the various aspects that contribute to a truly credible election, such as transparency, independent media, technology, inclusion of women, youth and persons with disabilities in the political process, and in most of these cases, international support and cooperation. The calendar simultaneously celebrates IFES’ 25 years of work through stories and photos.
The 2012 calendar includes photographs from: Afghanistan, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Georgia, Guatemala, Guinea, India, Iraq, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Sudan, Tunisia and the United States. The calendar also marks major national holidays and the dates of upcoming elections worldwide.
