Parvinder Singh
Chief of Party, South Sudan
Parvinder Singh currently serves as Chief of Party for South Sudan. He brings 26 years of managerial, advisory, programmatic and operational experience in electoral-related areas specializing in voter and civil registration, 19 years of which spent in post-conflict and emerging democracies. He was also an officer with the Election Commission of India for seven years.
Recently, Singh had been working with IFES as Senior Elections/Referendum Advisor in Sudan and South Sudan.
He has undertaken numerous assignments and missions in Europe, Asia and Africa with special focus on former Yugoslavian states, Cambodia and East Timor. He planned and implemented the first ever uniform and sustainable civil registry system in Cambodia in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, the Government of Cambodia and PLAN International. He has worked with the Electoral Assistance Division in United Nations, United Nations Development Program, Asian Development Bank and Transparency International (Maldives).
Singh holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Moti Lal Nehru College, Delhi University.
