Antonio Spinelli currently serves as Chief of Party for Egypt. Spinelli has worked with IFES on several projects providing his expertise as a referendum advisor and election administration expert in Sudan, an election specialist in Indonesia, an electoral expert in Kosovo and as a senior electoral advisor in Yemen, Georgia and South Africa.  

Spinelli brings over 18 years of advisory, managerial, operational, programmatic and analytical experience in electoral-related subjects, projects, programs and other initiatives at a global, regional and country level, primarily spent in transitional democratic settings and in conflict/post-conflict environments. He has undertaken numerous assignments and missions in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and in the Middle East. He has collaborated and worked with the United Nations, the European Commission, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), International Organization for Migration (IOM), International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and various international donors.
