Fida Nasrallah

Dr. Fida Nasrallah currently serves as Deputy Chief of Party in Egypt. She is an electoral expert with over 15 years experience in providing technical assistance to election commissions, managing election-related projects, conducting needs assessment and evaluation missions, and advising on voter and civic education design and implementation. Nasrallah has also participated in several election observation missions and provided support to domestic election observation groups.

Nasrallah has worked extensively in Yemen as well as in Liberia, Mali, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Cameroon, Serbia, Bosnia, East Timor and Cambodia. She worked for IFES in Ramallah as aVoter Education Adviser to the Central Election Commission in Palestine. In 2007-8 she was Chief Technical Adviser and Head of the Electoral Assistance Office for the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN). She also worked with UNDP in Indonesia in 1999, 2004 and most recently (2008-10) as CTA of the 3-year capacity building and electoral assistance programme to the Government of Indonesia.

Nasrallah holds a doctorate in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
