Kimberley Atsalinos serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Contracts & Grants and Development for IFES. She brings over 25 years of experience in government procurement experience, both in the public and private sectors, having worked in field offices overseas and headquarters offices in the US.

Atsalinos is experienced in the interpretation and application of regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to Federal and non-federal acquisition and assistance instruments, general principles of business and accounting and contract law. Her specialties are government contracting, grant-making and business/proposal development. 

Atsalinos has previously served as Vice President of Bids and Proposals at AED, Director of Proposal Operations for RTI’s International unit and Director of Grants & Contracts at IFES. In addition to her work for NGOs, Atsalinos served as a Foreign Service Contracting Officer for USAID in Egypt, Kenya and Jordan and as Contracting Officer for the Peace Corps. 

Atsalinos is active in InsideNGO and serves on their Government Relations Steering Committee. She holds a master’s degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a master’s degree in Middle East Studies from the University of Arizona.
